E-mail Forwarding in Cloud Hosting
The Hepsia Control Panel, which comes with all our cloud hosting plans, will help you to forward any email address inside the account to an alternative one with ease. You can do this either throughout the creation of a new email address or at any time afterwards if you decide that you need this feature. During the process, you'll be able to consider if you need a backup of the emails to be kept on the server. In this way, you'll have a backup and you'll prevent the probability to lose an e-mail message if the forwarding is to an external address, that's momentarily inaccessible. This option can be enabled and disabled whenever you want, though if you use emails for critical matters, it is better to use it, because no data of the email messages will be maintained on the server if the option is not enabled. If you determine that you do not need forwarding anymore, it takes simply a click to deactivate it.
E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you have a semi-dedicated server from us, you'll need simply a couple of clicks inside the Email Manager area of your Hepsia Hosting Control Panel to forward the email addresses set up on our end to a third-party e-mail address. Inside the exact same area you will also be able to see how many of your email addresses are forwarded and where the inbound e-mails are going. You're able to activate or disable a forwarding account at any moment and during the process you could also choose if a backup copy of the messages should be kept in our system or not. Even though this option is not a necessity, it is quite valuable because you will get a backup copy of the emails on our end just in case that something happens with the third-party mailbox. Even if they have only a short-term problem, you risk losing e-mail messages as the moment our system gets and forwards an e-mail, absolutely nothing will be stored on our end if you haven’t selected a copy to be saved.
