A: The web site migration service offered by YTS Host is entirely free of cost and involves moving all your website files, databases and e–mails from your current hosting provider to your new hosting account with us. We’ll also fine–tune all the configuration settings required for your sites to be completely operational on our super–modern cloud hosting platform.Our techs are completely capable of moving any sort of website. With years of practical experience behind their backs, they are well–versed in the inner workings of our web hosting platform, our Control Panel as well as all other commonly used Control Panels. For them, moving a custom–made web application with numerous custom libraries is as elementary as transferring a simple WordPress–based blog.

A: We strive to perform all website migrations as quickly as possible. Nevertheless, we do not have a set time frame for web site migrations. There are various variables that you have to consider – the actual size of your site and the workload of our web site migration staff, etc. We constantly strive to perform each migration within 48 hours. With smaller–sized web sites, our team usually manages to finish within 24 hours.

A: We don’t request any information that is sensitive. We’ll need, though, the login information for your present web hosting account and the name of the website that you’d like to move.

A: In order for us to start the transfer of your hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to disclose practically the same information you have provided to your current host. We also have an extremely strict Privacy Policy, which specifies how sensitive information is handled.

A: While we transfer your website, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your previous web hosting provider. After that, we will explain to you how to move the domain name to your hosting account with us and how to modify your DNS settings.

A: While we transfer your website content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We won’t contact them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–based web hosting platforms. Fundamentally, if we can get access to your Control Panel, we will be able to migrate your site.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source website creation platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
